Dua Lipa was born in London, England to Albanian parents from Kosovo. She moved back to Kosovo in 2008 with her family and then moved back to London, this time on her own at the age of 15. Dua got her start posting covers on YouTube and in 2015 signed with Warner Brothers. Besides singing, she writes her own songs and has done some modeling.
