Tommy Genesis, real name Genesis Yasmine Mohanraj, was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. She is of Swedish and Tamil descent. Genesis is a Canadian rapper that studied film and sculpture at Emily Carr University of Art and Design. Tommy signed with Awful Records in 2015 and released her first album, World Vision. She signed with Downtown Records/Interscope Records in 2017. Besides rapping, she also does some modeling and has worked with Calvin Klein in the past.
